The Outbox is GLBA's monthly newsletter. It includes a calendar of events as well as features by and for Santa Barbara's growing gay and lesbian business community. Topics include a monthly column from the GLBA President, local community news, member profiles, professional advice, health information, and business tips.

The Outbox is currently seeking an editor!

If you'd like to submit an article for the newsletter or inquire about the editor position, you can do so via e-mail by clicking here.

1. GLBA welcomes the submission of articles for the monthly newsletter. Preference will be given to items written by or of special interest to GLBA members.
2. The length of submissions should be as follows: regular monthly columns & one time articles should be 150-300 words. Monthly mixer hosts are alloted space for a descriptive article of 300-500 words.
3. Articles may be edited for spelling, punctuation, grammar, consistency or to meet space limitations.
4. Articles must be submitted by the 15th of each month for the following month's edition. All attempts will be made to publish articles in the desired month's edition, but due to space considerations, this is not guaranteed.
5. Outbox articles must include a name and contact phone number (for verification purposes). Please be sure to indicate who to attribute the article to as it is to appear in print.
6. Articles may be submitted in a variety of formats:
   *On a PC compatible floppy disk in MS Word or plain text format;
   *Via e-mail to glba@prideguide.net;
   *By regular mail typewritten on a single sided 8 1/2" x 11" white paper to : GLBA, Attn: The Outbox, PO Box 90907, Santa Barbara, CA 93190.
7. Business Members are entitled to submit a flyer to be mailed with the newsletter. The flyer may be no larger than standard size (8 1/2" x 11"), may not be folded and may not be thicker than standard bond paper. A minimum of 150 + copies must be provided and must include a contact name and phone number. Flyers must be submitted by the 22nd of each month. Call our GLBA Hotline to coordinate flyer inserts with the Newsletter Editor.
8. Articles relating to non-GLBA events may be published in the Outbox Calendar and are subject to space considerations. Information must include the name of event, date, time, location, cost if any, and contact information.
